Charles was a huge club advocate, enthusiastic supporter of all the teams and an all-round true gentleman.
He would often give his wise advice to the Committee on club matters and was regularly on hand at the pavilion, dressed sharp, delivering a big welcome to players, members, supporters, parents and visitors, greeting them all with his charm and wit, taking his time to speak with all.
At this difficult time, Knockin and Kinnerley Cricket Club would like to offer their most sincere condolences to Charles’s wife Carol, who would frequently be at his side at the ground, along with all the other family members who continue to have strong ties with the club.
